Summary

This Hugh Newell Jacobson designed museum with associated teaching studios is the newest addition to the Southern Vermont Arts Center. The museum's foyer, lined with slate and granite, features a dramatic three-tiered stairway that leads the eye up to a 35-foot high ceiling with skylight. This construction management project involved a stepped building layout with several wings and a new HVAC system calibrated to meet exacting humidity requirements.
